Does anyone use an aftermarket horn? My stock horn sounds really, really wimpy. The Honda dealership has these dual horns called "Magnums" made by Rivco. I'd say they are about 40x louder than my stock horn, and the tone is a lot more 'manly'.

Problem is they're $80/pair, and I only have room to mount 1 anyway. Are there any other good, compact horns out there for around $20-30 a piece?

If you only have room for one, see what it sounds like with just one...  If it's better than stock, sell the other one.



I still think someone needs to build a little mini-compressor air-horn for the GS.

Adjust the little screw on the back of the horn!

I used a Fiamm Highway Blaster, available at most car parts stores for about $15.  I haven't hooked it up to a relay yet, but that would be a good thing to do.

I have been using deal electric Fiamm horns from Italy for over 20 years on various motorcycles and LOVE THEM.
They are LOUD. They make car drivers look around for the tractor-trailer they think is about to smash into them.
If you need help with the relay wiring, let me know. I have a good wiring diagram.
I highly recommend them. They need a replay to keep your horn switch from frying due to higher electrical load.

I've also seen a brand called Wolo horns that are similar at auto parts stores. Be sure to use a relay.
