Okay...so the bike is running well, except when I do a full release of the throttle-in gear when slowing down...then I hear this noise that sounds almost like a really loud clank/tick...you know sometimes when you turn your car off, while its cooling down you hear a slight "tink-tink-tink"...it's like that but louder...
thoughts? valves? just did a valve adjustment about 1000 miles ago...
i was riding last night, it did it, but then I pulled the clutch in, and i still heard it, but not as much...engine? maybe the transfer of weight to the front of the bike is moving something..I don't know
HELP :dunno:

The motorcycle is no longer the hobby, the skill has become the hobby.

Power does not compare to skill.  What good is power without the skill to use it?

good judgement trumps good skills every time.

I had the same noise, then I tightened my chain.  No more noise.  Scratch beat me to it, but I'd give you about 98% that the noise is cause your chain is loose.  By the way tightening your chain is pretty easy, check you Clymers manual, or just ask on here.

Post 350 by the way
