If you've ever read those lists "You know you're a child of the 80's if..."  you may hold the "mullet" in a dear place in ur heart.  Does anyone have a picutre of themselves sporting a mullet as a kid???  Even if you have to take a picture of the actual picture with your digital camera to get it up here PLEASE do it.  SHOW US YOUR MULLET..luckily I never had one! :thumb:

I never sported a mullet but I did rock a mean Magnum PI 'stache in High School.

I'll hunt down a pic if my wife hasn't burnt them all.

She calls it a porn mustache.

I wanted a rat-tail, but my mom wouldn't let me have one.  Mullets were definately off mom's list of approved hairi-styles. :(

RVertigo - You seem more and more interesting the more you post......

I never had a mullet. I DID have a mohawk in high school for a while (yeah I was a freak, can you imagine?). And I had a rat tail when I was about 8-9, but I don't have any pics of that either.  :(
Richard died in a motorcycle accident that was at no fault of his own.  We lost a good friend and good member of this board.  Though Rich may be gone, his legacy will live on here.

Looks like you were having a PBR night.  Thanks cause PBR sponsers my rugby team, or rather we drink a lot of their beer and they give us a little bit of our money back. :thumb:

You mean it took nearly 1700 posts for me to seem interesting?  Yeah... I can see that.

Yeah!  PBR!!!  Been drinking PBR since I was 14...  Great crappy beer.

I had a rat tail...  And I had long hair...  No photographic evidence to speak of though...   :dunno:  I think I have a pic of my blue hair. :thumb:

I rocked the mullet for a year in '90.  It was more of Bozworth haircut.  Flat on top.  Shaved to the skin on the sides, and long and cury in the back.  We was a beauty.  Many people couldn't accept it.  And they were eventually destroyed by its fury.

Nick names I've heard for the mullet style of haircut:

Canadian Pasport.
Kentucky Neck Blanket.
Achy Breaky Hair Mistakey.
The Missouri Compromise.
Arkansas Waterfall.

I'm sure that our hockey loving friends to the north have still got some GLORIOUS mullets!

i had a mullet when I was 4 or so and it was real curly in the back and when it got wet it went to the middle of my back.  everyone in my family had mullets except females and my 5 year old bro.  my mom said she had to keep one away from the torture.  I will have to scan pics, ill get them as soon as I can.  haha they are great.

No more watching "Youngblood" re-runs for you.  Although I'll have to admit, I did have a few friends that sported the Mullet in the 80's.  It was marginally better than the Platnium Blond look-alikes.  Ouch.
