Yes, we've heard that about you...  :P

I've heard that 3 Stroke oil is hard to come by.

Jake D

I just use hand lotion.  Oil is a waste of time on a three stroke.  But if you like to make it all elaborate. . .

Many of the ancients believe that Jake D was made of solid stone.

I thought the oil was more "romantic".

Only three strokes isn't, though.

They're really easy to time and balance. Although, sometimes the timing is bad, usually in the morning; they like to be vacuumed balanced.

Is order important?  I usually do that first...

pandy

Order isn't paramount, but one must always be sure to do a thorough check before each ride.

I usually start with the chassis too...  Then check the pressure...  And so on...

Usually the last thing is to check the fluids before I ride...  You know...  After making sure everything else is in order.

OK...  I'm done with this thread.   :nana:

My attitude is in serious need of readjustment, and I'm ok with that.
