Actually, the real order is, Joining, saying hi, then getting bike, but meh.

I got my bike last night! I was real tired so I put off bragging, but I can't anymore.

I don't actually know what to say other then, I'm signed up for the BRC next month, and need to buy some gear. Actually all of it. I'm going out today to try on these big things people wear to look more like eggs. er, helmets, yeah. Besides that, I don't plan to ride much of anywhere till after the corse, and especially till after I get my jacket, pants, boots and gloves.

Oh, Pics from last night.

Btw, Getting a bike into the back of a truck by lifting is hard, not impossible though.

I liked the red one, so I am gona show it off too. Too bad it was a little blown out from too much flash. (It was cold, and I didn't want to spend that much time taking pictures)

Yeah, It does. They are small white ones on the back, and in the mirrors on the front. I also got the stock ones, and might put them on later if i think its a problem. You can see the rear turn signals; at the front edge of the brake light, and down about an inch in real life.

YEAH! I'm get some yellow scrubs to go with it too. Wait I mean leathers, or actually most likely some textile stuff... and a yellow helmet. (and try not to over do the yellow ;))

Congrats dude. When you get your endorsement (and it stops raining), we should go on a "newbie ride" together. I just got my bike, and have only been able to ride for about an hour before it started raining :-(

Caffeine

Admit it!  You sat on the bike while someone else drove the truck and you twisted the throttle and make vroom noises, didn't you?    :)

Congrats!
On those days when life is a little too much and nothing seems to be going right, I pause for a moment to ponder the wise last words of my grandfather:  "I wonder where the mother bear is?"

GeeP

Looks like a pissed off yellowjacket.     :)

Now stop making motersickel noises on it and go ride!

Oh.. Yeah...  Don't make motersickel noises w/  your faceshield down.  Gets messy.
Every zero you add to the tolerance adds a zero to the price.

If the product "fails" will the product liability insurance pay for the "failure" until it turns 18?

  damn straight! .. er, something like that anyway. ... Actually it was raining like crazy, so not at all  :P Today I rode it down about 50 feet of grass hill and almost droped it twice from slaming on the front brake. (oh, the bike was off btw)

Does it EVER stop raining there?

We've just started the rainy season.

I'd say it's rained... maybe a handful of days in the last 4 months (not counting the last couple weeks). We've had a beautiful summer.

You're not quite the yellow ranger there. Get an all yellow helmet and a yellow jacket, that'd do the trick. :-)

Wasn't the yellow ranger a girl too? Yellow and Pink were... I think. I mean, those are girl-colors after all! :-D

Alphamazing

Did anyone else notice the racial stereotyping in the original Power Rangers?

The Black Ranger was a black guy...
The Yellow Ranger was an Asian girl...

I mean. Come on.

Yeah! I was thinking to get a Hi-Viz Roadcrafter.... Wouldn't look as cool for sure, but sure would be yellow.
