I am about to buy a battery tender for my GS and I wanted to know if anyone had experience with the Battery Tender vs the Battery Doc.  Or if there were other models that I should look at.  As both of the above seem to have const. current and const. voltage modes, I don't know what other things to consider.  Size?  The Doc is natively smaller and international, whereas the Tender seems to be either large and international or small.  Thoughts?

If you are in the US you don't need the international version.

Get a 1.5 amp model.  YUASA and Battery Tenders are both good and about the same price.

I bought a Battery Tender Plus and connected it to my battery, off the bike, last winter. It worked perfectly and fired right up in the spring. It's a good product, and their website, is the most information you could ever want on batteries. You can also hook up more than one battery in parallel.
