Holy crap man, that sucks. It's bright and sunny here, nice and cool, great breeze, not a cloud in the sky. Bummer for the rain :(

I feel your pain Gino. I'm not too awful far from your red dot..haha. It been SOGGY AS HELL here all weekend, and isn't going to let up for a few days. We have flood warnings in effect for good chunks of the area. It was pouring last night so bad I had a hard time keeping the car on the road and kept hydoplaning, I can only imagine how bad it would have been on the bike  :o

I don't mind getting wet! But I DO mind flying off the road into a muddy ravine out in the woods only to be discovered by 2 rednecks and a banjo playing kid....
Richard died in a motorcycle accident that was at no fault of his own.  We lost a good friend and good member of this board.  Though Rich may be gone, his legacy will live on here.

advice: take the art basic. the sport is getting very popular - try not to go on the weekends (crowded).

I still say that would make an awesome GStwin meet. I'd go. Even if someone didn't want to actually track ride, it would be cool to support other GS'ers. :thumb:

Still with the steady rain, high wind, and flood warnings.  I considered taking the Ark to work this morning, but I don't think Noah has cleaned out all of the animal mess at the bottom yet.  Lazy bum.

Groan.  Looks like it will stop raining on Saturday.   :x

Whoo hoo! I took the GS out for a ride today, finally! It felt so good! Damn I really, really missed it. Winter is going to drive me nuts (again, like last year). It sure felt good to get back out there. There were still some puddles in some of the roads, especially the back roads, but for the most part the roads were clear  :thumb:

woot!  :thumb:
What time did the deluge stop?  We should follow in a few hours...I'm getting the gear ready (no, that doesn't include 'waxing my helmet' thankyouverymuch).  It's still pouring, but the word is that once it stops everything will clear out quickly.  Looks like the rain line right now is just passing over western MA, just past Albany.

:drums fingers:

Update:  it didn't stop raining here until after 6:00.  Didn't get a chance to get out.  First thing tomorrow...hopefully it won't look like this:

It is funny how things can change so quickly. Here is a picture from a few minutes ago....

And here is a picture of the same thing from last Friday the 21st.

It is pretty bad out right now, worse than my poor photography skills show. We have a lot of trees down, a lot of roads are closed, power outages, and we're expected to get around 7" of snow.  :o

Guess I won't be riding the GS today.
