My friends say I have too much time on my hands. Probably do. At least I am having fun  :)

This is the latest tweak. Hope you all can tell me what you think.

It looks sort of like a Seca II now....I almost bought one of those 2 years ago.

Looks good :thumb:   I especially like the Bandit 1200 sticker    How often do people ask you if your GS is a Bandit now?  How many think it is a 1200?

Anyway, looks good

Its a big ass fairing for the little ass GS ...    ... slap a 916 or a RS 250 one on it ... Heck the F's fairing is too big IMHO.
Cool.

Impressive. Looks good. I like it.
The motorcycle is no longer the hobby, the skill has become the hobby.

Power does not compare to skill.  What good is power without the skill to use it?

I really like the idea...but hate the look of the fairing...
maybe it's because it's on the older GS...but i like angles...maybe they should make one for the 01+ ;)

The fairing isn't my taste...  But, you did a good job putting it on.   :thumb:

I think it looks good. the first generation bandits (from which that fairing was taken) are actually quite narrow. fit, from the pictures, looks OEM. Its not particularly to my taste either but good job. I like the look of the earlier fairing too though, maybe even better. What was that from?

Also, it'll probably be cheaper for someone to just buy a used fairing on ebay than pay for a new, hand made fiberglass unit you'd sell, unless you'd offer them up here at a significant discount (and then people would still have to deal with fitment, lights, etc).

Well, thanks for the comments, even those who had nothing to say.

I was thinking of going ahead with the first fairing, which was modeled after one from a local bike. As a rainy day, nothing to do, project.

But I do like the bandit one also. For those who do not, well, to each their own. And if anyone else out there likes it, the pictures are how it will actually look if you get a set from ebay.
