When I used to ride my bike my head would really get pushed around by the wind, but now I got a shoei rf1000 helmet and I don't notice my head wobble or get pushed around at all anymore, I guess the cheaper helmet I have just isn't as good.

I noticed that between my Shoei Z-II and the RF-1000 as well. I think that little spoiler in the back might actually make a difference.

Yeah, maybe. I said something about that to my friend and he said no. But is must do something because it's completely different from my other helmet.

Sure shell size maybe makes a difference, but me I personally think the fit really helps with that.....I had an old shity FULMAR helmet and it was loose and I found that it really shook around alot when i was riding.....

Then I bought a new KBC Force RR and liked it alot....plus the fit for my head is so much better and I have found my head doesn't get blown around so much.

My Z-II and my RF-1000 fit exactly the same, as they were both made in the same size specifications by Shoei. The RF-1000 has less turbulence. I think shell shape and that little spoiler play a part in that 20%, so you say.

Shell shape can affect fitment as well.  The first helmet I ever purchased, an HJC AC-11, had a completely different fit from an HJC CL-14 in the same size.

That's odd. I've tried on somewhere in the area of 8 different Shoei models in my size and they all fit equally well. I think Shoei conforms their inner size to the same dimensions while modifying exterior shell shape for aerodynamics.
