Not without the rest of the front end that goes with it.

Seriously, that would probably fit diameter and bearing wise, but it shares the common grafting problem of being too long for the GS's steering stem.

Another is that it was designed for an over 500 lb. 160 HP monster. It is vastly overbuilt for what a GS needs, and will add useless weight.

I'd pass.

Stop giving me ideas...
Every zero you add to the tolerance adds a zero to the price.

If the product "fails" will the product liability insurance pay for the "failure" until it turns 18?

That looks sweet, but just to be fair...

It's the same as if you put a V-TEC sticker (or any other sticker, for that matter) on your base-model Civic to make people THINK that's what you've got. Want a Hayabusa? Buy a Hayabusa.

Like I said, just to be fair.

You can make anything fit, but that won't be a simple swap. The steering stem is too thick and too long for the GS neck so you'd need to either make a custom stem or make a press fit bushing to use the GS stem - which will then be a little too short due to the extra thickness of the Busa's lower triple. I've done this swap with a late model GSX-R600 front end, which uses virtually the same stem as the Busa. I had a machine shop make me a stem.

As someone else mentioned, you'll also need the busa tubes, wheel, rotors, calipers, etc.

That said, if you're looking to sell this - or at least the top triple, I need one. I'm swapping a Busa front end onto my 1980 XS1100 and need the upper triple. I have the lower triple, stem, tubes, and axle...still looking for the rest! The XS is also going to be converted to chain drive and get a Busa swingarm and monoshock. It's a long term back-burner project that I'm slowly collecting parts for...but I think it's gonna be pretty damn cool!
