its 2-3 days of motorcycling heaven with a great turn out, last year was I think just under 3000 people turned up.
Although finding accomadation in threadbo maybe a bit hard at this late point but should be some around Jinndy and other places, a couple of the other NSW guys have done it  and enjoyed it so just a thought for you.
But I have Phillip Island planned for next year and hoping to do some camping down there as I have heard its party time down there at the camping sites.  

Yeah. We did the trip from Canberra to Phillip Island.  We went on the Barry Sheene ride which incorporated a couple of laps of the MotoGP circuit.   We also did the great alpine road on the way back.  Going over the mountains there is just the best peice of road I can imagine.
