Kinda bike related... The genius (inlaws) that assembled a stationary bike cross threaded one of the foot pedals, and then never road it. So, a few years later now that I'm using it, its completely lost its threads... what to do? There's enough rat bikes here, someone ought to know ;)

helicoil  or you can go getto and try to JB weld it.

I had to replace the cranks.
...JB Weld?...can't believe a professional welder would suggest glueing such an important component...what if it lets go while you're climbing a steep incline? :o
...then again, if I'd thought of it, I'd have tried it.

It is a stationary bike, not many safety concerns :lol:
