Man, I almost would like that. I hate, HATE, ricer cars with stupid shaZam! on them but for some reason I like LEDs on bikes.

Hell no. I bought a Monte Carlo just to prove my loyalty to American Steel. In retrospect I should have bought an Acura or Subaru, but the point remains.

Bikes are the opposite for me...I can't dig Harleys at all.

LED's are cool on a bike....on the right bike. I would not put them on a GS....I think they make it look cheap.

I too absolutely loathe and detest stupid ricer cars, and neon and crap on them make me hate them even more. For some reason, though, tastefully placed LEDs on a bike can look very good. I'll see if I can find the pics of the blue FZ1 with blue LEDs. It looked NICE.

I agree with all of the above...and I'd add that blue LEDs look especially good in a gaming PC.  :mrgreen:

oh come on.  this isnt about a gs500 ricer lite kit.  its about purple this n purple that.  maybe if it was a request for help with installing the kit or something.    excuse me for being 'picky' about what should/shouldnt be in the general section.  some of us like to read about GS's in the general section. not who can find the most purple colored motorcycle accesories.

Unfortunately, we can't all ONLY have what WE like talked about in a forum. You have to put up with the good (whatever it is YOU like to talk about) with the bad (whatever everyone ELSE likes to talk about)!  :dunno:  

Given the prevalence of purple GS's, I'd say that they are right there in the GS mainstream, whether or not you like that fact.  

I generally just skip over the threads that don't look as though they'd be of interest to me.
