i going to be working on the bike this winter and i figured out what i want it to look like after a 2002 gsxr rear fairing replacement and a new decals.

If you've got the time, patience, skill, machining ability, patience, time, and a shaZam! load of beer, I'd say go for it. That's going to be a lot of work, especially dealing with all the spacing issues, mounting issues, and correct fitting. You're going to have a hell of a time.

The GSX-R lowers are big; I'd be surprised if they mate with the F upper that nicely.

GO FOR IT!!!!  It'll look great.  You should also go to clip-ons, and ad a decal of '500' or '500-R'on the tail section, like the GSXRs have (GSXRs say 600, 750, or 1000).  Good luck.

Funniest name I was ever called on here "cap'n fast n' furious"

A guy once told me "having nitrous on your car is alot like dating a hot girl with a STD, your afraid to hit it because of what might happen."
