i'm super sad, the bandit 1200 no longer appears in the "standard" section on suzuki's website, i just noticed. i was hoping they would give it one final update (EFI...please?) before junking it, so sad.
The final measure of any rider's skill is the inverse ratio of his preferred Traveling Speed to the number of bad scars on his body. It is that simple: If you ride fast and crash, you are a bad rider. And if you are a bad rider, you should not ride motorcycles.

they still sell in europe, they even have a bigger displacement version there too, (i think 1400 cc? it is listed in a section in the UK mag BIKE)
i'm mostly crying because i wanna see it updated so badly.

Hell I wanted the 600 and I waited too long now the 1200 is going.

I don't like it and I'm not happy.

yeah there are a lot of bikes they don't import here.  Mainly cause the market speaks bigger is better for the most bart here in the states.  Sucky yes.  I would have liked an sv400s to start on but then again the GS is GREAT.

Here is one bike that i ran into a couple weeks ago while cruising the internet.   It is a wicked looking little bike.

249 cc DOHC In-line four with 38.88 HP with 6 speed
332 lbs dry.

Doesn't it sound fun?

I also like the SV400s.

we are so screwed in the US, stupid capitalism / consumerism society. i fi sober up enough to use the scanner i'll scan the pages out of that bike issue i picked up 3 or so weeks ago,

we are missing  out on the GSX1400 and the Bandit 650, and now the bandit 1200. and that i just from suzuki,

all the crazy brands that are non existant here, the KTM superduke (like a buell, only crazier) and countless dual sports, the honda cb1300 (like a bandit, but honda flavored) bimota, cagiva, husqvarna (also makes chainsaws...hmmm.). and over there hyosung has been around for a while. ugh.

and honda even sells a freaking CBR 125RR! how much fun does that sound like? can you say light stearing?

ok, ranting done, i'm just sad to see the bandit go from our lineup.
