Some of you know me, many don't, but I've been a member here for quite a while. I'm also the publisher of a regional motorsports magazine based in Virginia...some folks on the board here have seen it, and the infamous Srinath wrote an article for us a while back!

To make a long story short, I lost my father to Pancreatic Cancer on September 28. I have decided to set up a fundraiser in honor of his passing to benefit the American Cancer Society. The abbreviated version of the official press release is listed below. Thanks for reading.

Octane Magazine is heading up a charity project to benefit the American Cancer Society. We will be auctioning the cover photo and feature story for our March/April '06 issue to the highest bidder. 100% of the funds collected will go directly to the American Cancer Society. This fundraiser has been registered with ACS. For anyone interested, rules and details can be viewed at http://octaneonline.com

Thanks for the support!
