anyone ever go there?  i spent saturday hiking with some friends.  it was really good to get away from home for awhile and see the wilderness.  growing up i used to go camping/backpacking or canoeing etc all the time, however since i've been outta high school i've worked full time and havent been able to take some time and breath fresh air.  if i can get my other CF card back i'll show u guys some more pics

I was on my way out to Princeton with my dad to watch my sister play hockey. We got lost and ended up there. I woke up to see my dad standing outside the car talking to a police officer. Kind of freaked me out a bit. But from what I remember it was a nice little mountain town.

did you know Jim Thorpe played one of the island natives in King Kong?  i remember when i found that out, i kept telling people about it and no one knew who Jim Thorpe was.

i always passed by jim thorpe going snowboarding but never once stopped...

I've been through Jim Thorpe, but never really stopped to enjoy the area. I saw a special on the Discovery Channel about Jim Thorpe, PA. They have one of the most haunted hotels in the country or something.  

i've been meaning to go mountain biking there.

its a really neat place. im going back in a few weeks to do some more exploring.  that and to see a chick that works at a steak house in the area  :mrgreen:
