I have a couple of friends who actually did get free iPods from that deal.  It was just a pain in the ass.

Of course, I bought mine with actual mone, like a sucker.

I bought a Rio Forge for 1/4 the price.

You non-pod-people are always trying to convince of hoopy froods that you made the better choice.  Jealous much?

I've never filled my Forge.  I get bored and swap the songs out.

I keep my whole collection on my iPod.  I never know what I want to listen to until I want to listen to it, so swapping doesn't really work for me.

I don't want to stop in the middle of my jog to figure out what I want to listen to next... my musical desires in the fluffy-daily sense come in clusters, so I just slap them on the player as they come.

I went another route I did some research nd found the motorola mpx200 (i think thats right)  smart phone. they stopped making it in 02. its meant to be a pda/cell for business folks. best of all it has a sd card slot and uses windows mobile OS w/ windows media. So i have my cell/ 1 gig mp3 player in one.  The new mp3 cells suck cuz they dont have removeable memory cards or expandable. i also use it to hold files for school, pictures, documents, games, plus it links up w/ my yahoo calander so it has all my contacts and appointments.  :lol: new technology sux. 2002 had it right. 150 bux off e bay.
