I just found out about this board and I love it and all the helpful info on it. But I was wondering if there are any other good boards to browse on.

What other bike or gs500 sites you have bookmarked? :)

http://gstwin.variders.com is a pretty cool GS500 FAQ site.  :P

Gstwin is by the the best site, and has a forum. You can't beat that!

Pablo's site is pretty good too! I forgot the link but it is in his signature. :thumb:
Richard died in a motorcycle accident that was at no fault of his own.  We lost a good friend and good member of this board.  Though Rich may be gone, his legacy will live on here.

+1

That question is like walking into a mom and pop hardware store, putting a $0.10 bolt on the counter, and asking if there are any places nearby that might have it cheaper.   :x    :x

Just kidding...  I have nothing constructive to add to this thread.   :P
Every zero you add to the tolerance adds a zero to the price.

If the product "fails" will the product liability insurance pay for the "failure" until it turns 18?

Hang out there, we may flame, but we don't hate.

My attitude is in serious need of readjustment, and I'm ok with that.

Hey Alphafire X5 ,how can you use the term FRENCH and FREEDOM in the same sentence ! They are the military that has surrendered the most of all the worlds militarys. Just open any history book and you can find the truth. WW 2 for instance they went from fighting the NAZIS to hooking up with them [after they surrendered of course] and then they turned on trere own people! We have our problems with the french up here in CANADA but that is another story.

He's making reference to the illustrious U.S. government making a statement after the French took a position against sending forces into Iraq.  They renamed "French Fries" on the senate cafeteria menu to "Freedom Fries" to avoid any misperception that they might be supporting the French by eating their side dishes, even though french fries do not come from France (they originated in Belgium, which most Americans probably think is in France), nor do the French refer to them as "french fries" at all.

This exemplified the mentality during the brief time when many people across the U.S. were also demonstrating their disdain with the French--who, for some strange reason didn't believe the U.S. government's adamant [and now known to be false] claims--by 'boycotting' anything French, including *gasp* dumping perfectly good French wine down the drain.  There was a lot of talk about how we "saved their bacon" during "the big one" and how they should "show some gratitude" now and just do whatever we command.

In response, the French started calling american cheese "Idiot Cheese".*
* Note, this is funny, but untrue...the French don't refer to processed non-cheese as "american cheese" at all.  I think they call it "crap" and munch on brie and truffles instead.
