This is Jazz band from my freshman year (I am a junior now, the band web site hasn't been updated since then) I am the furthest saxophone the the right.

This is us at the Super Dome in New Orleans when we played in the half-time show for the sugar bowl. this was obviously before it turned into a house for half of the city.


This is just a shot of the band, we have 200 something members. It changes every year

well that is my band, all you probably don't care but at least I am one post closer to 500! :mrgreen:

Man, I really miss playing in the jazz band. I played in it from 7th grade through the very first part of 12th, but collapsed my lung and couldn't play for the rest of the year. You should switch to bari, it's SOOOO much more fun.

I was in band, jazz band, and show choir back-up band.  I was a drum major and played alto and tenor sax.  I was a jock too!!!  When I was a senior we had 169 members.

I have considered switching to a tenor but that would mean using a school horn and that would be dumb. Besides, my case is the coolest.

they do, but I call them feathers because that is what they are

And it sucks when they get wet!!!!

What really sucks is when the gloves get wet from the rain and it is cold outside.

Yeah and how come the uni's are super hot in the summer and dreadfully cold in the winter!!!!
