There are a couple things I'd like to say.

1) First off, I want to publicly apologize to ajgs500 for some of the things I've said. I was mean, irrational, and there was no real need for it. I also want to apologize to anyone else I might have offended - or will offend in the future. Sometimes I can be unncessarily gruff, and sometimes it can be taken in the wrong context. And sometimes it is taken in the right context and I am just being a jerk.    No one is perfect. You -or anyone else for that matter- does not have to like me personally. I really don't care, but those matters should be taken up in private and not pollute this great forum with animosity. So I am willing to extend my hand halfway, and I hope you will do the same. There have been quite a few "disputes" between members lately and I want to bow out of that. It isn't right.

2) I was really inspired by Pablo's old thread titled "WARNING to Odds & Ends regulars". I think a lot of it still holds true. There really is no reason to bring in outside problems, predjudices, etc. etc. etc and hold them against members here. There is no reason to milk the tit for attention, and there is no reason to be a cocky @$$hole.   This should be more like a safe haven from all of that crap where we can get together and talk about motorcycles and the common things that concern and interest us. Whatever problems we have with eachother OUTSIDE of this board should be left there, making a better place for us all.

3) See #1 and #2  

Apology accepted.  It is cool, no hard feelings.  I can be a jerk sometimes too.  And I would like to take this time to apologize to you too, Phae.

I remember that I gave mister7 a hard time when he joined. I probably drove him away from here.  I apoligized though and I hope he forgave me.  Other than that, I think I have been fair to all the other members on this board.

Pablo's old post does hold much truth for the forum lately, but I'm damned impressed to see the olive branch extended and accepted here.  :kiss:

Oh...and I apologize for any past offenses I've caused with my purple, and I apologize for the many, MANY future purple offenses that I intend to cause.  :mrgreen:

I'm just discovering that this forum has, shall we say, a darker side... I'm happy I've found this place, but I'm glad I was not around for some of the gorier details.  Isn't it about bikes?  I hope the growing pains are somewhat resolved.

Anyways, Phaedrus, applause goes out to those who can see themselves from the outside occasionally.  A guy can learn a lot when he looks at himself from another's perspective, and even if it doesn't change his actions, at least he's being honest to himself.  Thanks.

And it's nice handle you have... a good book.  I've read it twice.  I'm sure everybody else here has also (nothing special), but that's what it's about in my view... self-examination.  Signifies something greater.

This is more of a recent thing.  I can't remember it ever being like this since I've joined.  It's the phases of the board, members are always coming and going
