to me, on my 96 gs500 I bought yesterday.   I picked it up from a local dealership for 1200 bucks, and spent about an hour on it yesterday, it was the first time i had been on a bike in a long time.  My first impressions of the are 1. it needs new fork springs 2. this thing is about as intimidating as a go kart and 3. man it is FUN!.  anyways id just thought id give you guys the heads up on my bike...........JP

Nice. Treat the thing with respect though. Both Go-Carts and the GS can still do damage if you don't follow the three rules!

Excellent!   :thumb:

I used to race go karts here in California.  100cc Yamaha on an Emmic kart.  What a blast but, they tip over too.

Sounds like you got a good price.  Enjoy, be safe, and get the progressive springs - I wouldn't even use the stock springs for my ball point pen.  Funny, that's what they look like.  Just a little bigger - But not by much.
