I got the bear wearing the leathers as a gift a little while ago...it's cute.  I love that lil beer belly.  I rub it for good luck!

It's from a line called "bad taste bears", I think they are based in the UK.  I keep getting them as gifts, but the others are let's just say not appropriate!

Yea you americans dont know your baskets from your bandicoots ... BTW possum yea made up animal ... the real name is Bandicoot and some of them are so violent they can chew through concrete ... BTW the asian bandicoot is far more agressive than the possum, no drooling or playing dead ... they will attack and kill a rat ... we caught one in a gunny sack and had to toss it under a bus real quick to kill it before it ate through the sack ... insane. OK the Indian Bandicoot is very much a battle hardened sewer dwelling super sized fearless, natural enemy less urban assault monger. No way no possum gonna be anywhere near that.

On a more humerous note: Down South some of the more "colorful" citizens call the armadillo "possum on the half-shell".

Possum is a greasy meat. Not nearly as good as "coon" but a damn coon looks like you're eatin' a dog. The bones look very similar to dog bones.
You take that thang (after you clean him and remove the musk glands) and cut him into quarter or eights, season him up and place sweet potatoes between the sections and bake that coon in the oven........WUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!! My working buddy swears by this recipe.
