I have had motorcycles that smoked in the past - I didn't realize that it was such a health hazard for them - thanks for the article.

My wife's BMW K75 still smokes when you park it on the sidestand overnight (this is a common problem for the  BMW K motors since the motor is a "in line" motor mounted horizontally. The oil seeps past the piston rings when you park it on the side stand.)

I'll be sure to print this posting out and show any motorcycles that are considering smoking.
