i hooked up a busa muffler from my dads bike (i made a flange and have a yosh) and wanted to hear the sound difference and it sounded same as stock just hade better looks over stock gs.

Well I finally had some time to put mine on. Turned out pretty good. I ended up having a new intermediate pipe custom bent, easier than cutting and welding with the lack of tools I was faced with. Pictures will be forthcoming as soon as I find the photo software. Just one final question for anybody. Is the general consensus that you don't need to rejet with just a can or should it be done anyway, all pipe sizes remained the same.

On an OEM cannister? No probably no rejetting is "needed" because its still a restrictive sound trap, just one that is lighter and looks differently.  You could probably go richer on the mains because a muffler designed for a 750 or 1000 IS going to flow better for a 500.
