Shite! Front Wheel Install Issues

So I finally had a bit of free time to install the Progressive springs, after getting my fork tube back from the jobber. I had one of tubes that was bent, and had them replace it for me. Anyways, I put the tube back in the triple clamps, and did the spring install without any issues, and then after that, I tried to get the front wheel back on.

For some reason or other, I can't seem to get the spacer, wheel, and speedo pick-up to get in between the forks. It's like I lost a half inch somewhere.

Anyone have any useful tips for me to put the wheel back on correctly???

Have you rotated the forks in the triples, by just spinning the tubes?
The motorcycle is no longer the hobby, the skill has become the hobby.

Power does not compare to skill.  What good is power without the skill to use it?

good judgement trumps good skills every time.

As above, and also you need to you need to have the speedo and spacer positioned on the wheel first then slide it into position in the forks.

I went back outside, and pulled the other tube.
The other one is bent too. :x

I did try to put the wheel on with the spacer and the speedo all together.
I guess I'll try it again in a few weeks when I get the other tube repaired.
