Here's another tip. This is something I want to do but haven't yet: paint the center gold portion of the front rotor black or silver...final touch in my opinion. Another tip-if you ever have to get new rotor buy a 02 one instead of 01; the 02 comes black in the center already instead of gold. Will go better with your black paint. Wish mine were black (I envy the 02 owners).

That does look smooth. I have a black front rotor Pablo. I also have a 2002 which it is mounted upon. heh heh  :nana:  I actually wouldn't mind the gold one. I don't have the ambition to switch either, so don't ask.

nah, its too big a pain in the ass to remove them. I figured I'd paint mine and if/when I need replacing I'll have dealer install 02 one...thanks for the offer though. :nana:

I always liked the gold on the 01's until I saw Leveler's bike and saw how he did his rims the same color gold. Then I thought the gold on the on his bike was to much. I think the gold would look trick on my 02.  I'll trade you. No hurry though it is to hot to be outside and not riding.

Hey, that's a really nice looking GS!  Makes me miss my bike so much.  Damn Iraqis!  Why do I gotta be out here when you are all out riding!  I hope you think of us soldiers who are missing out every time you turn the key and push start, or hack something off, or put on the new mod!

JBix, thanks for everything you and all the men and women in the armed forces have done and continue to do for all of us back here.  I'm glad you like my bike, don't be depressed though, yours is waiting for you when you get back, and everyone here will help you out when you start hacking and modding.  Make sure to chop the damn fender off if you haven't already.  

So when do we get to see your CRAPPY web page?  :lol: The one you've shown us so far is pretty cool; better than I could do.   Nice bike BTW.

It's crappy compared to some of the other posters site's IMO.  Mine is just some pictures, text, and simple links on one page.  I don't even have a counter.
