I'm helping with an attempt to get a photography forum started.  If anyone's interested in participating, hit it up!

as long as there are no pictures of puppies, dogs, kittens, cats, babies and toddlers.

I'm sure those will all make an appearance from time to time.

...as well as bikes and cars and stuff from folks like myself...

As long as the result is not a snapshot it wouldn't matter so much but when someone decides to veg out on the computer and find one of those things I mentioned earlier roaming in the room and the person decides to suddenly grab his or her camera and proceed to snap away. Then they would upload the pictures and then asks for a critique of how cute the subject looks instead of the photograph itself, that's when I start to disassociate. I guess the term I'm looking for here is post-whoring (never heard of that term until I got to this forum) because it's quite annoying to post-whore with really bad snapshots...

Kalee is actually hoping to see a good bit of professional-esque shots and artwork displayed there.  Even random snap-shots are fine by me, as long as they're good.

Cool. There are a lot of good photographers on this site, too. (Weazelnose and Jetswing come to mind). Hopefully they will head over too.
Richard died in a motorcycle accident that was at no fault of his own.  We lost a good friend and good member of this board.  Though Rich may be gone, his legacy will live on here.
