Today was by far the coldest day I've ridden in yet. It was about -3* to -4* Celcius and I think I got frostnip on my fingers, of course I had to let them warm up before I could type this message   Oddly enough though, cornering wasn't as bad as I had thought, all the sunshine and salt on the road must have provided a little more grip for my tyres. Which reminds me, I should go wipe all the nasty salt off her.

17 degrees F.

I made it 4/10ths of a mile.  Knees and fingers were coldest.

Ahhh! Well, still a bit too chilly for me to ride... But the weather sure was nice today. I was up in Halifax at the BT show this weekend for New Years and saw some guy on a Harley/clone in the distance... Some people are built for cold temps, I put the bike away when temps started hitting bout 5 degrees celcius.

So the coldest... Probably around 5 celcius.

Probably a bit below 0c.
It was foggy & as the mist turned to water on me it froze. The cold wasn't that bad, it was the visor with a layer of ice that was the worst.

Wish I could get out, but my bike is packed up already with stabil and this shaZam! that protects the frame (+ a 1000 other things = too much time to undo/redo!), so *choke* I won't be going anywhere :(.

... So I'll just sit back, all jealous and stuff :) Feel free to come down to yarmouth and let me ride your bike :thumb:

Below freezing im sure, it was snowing a bit. It was cold enough that the nice female office let me off with warning for speeding. Even in wisconsin she was amazed i was out in such cold weather. It was my last jaunt around town before storing the bike for winter.

Around 45. And that is my limit. Anything colder is too cold for me, espically on the highway, which I travel mostly.

This was years ago, but I managed to ride my dirtbike a few miles when the wind chill was -20F. Still ride my bicycle in weather that cold. But even that sucks after awhile.

Mak: you didn't say whether you actually rode when it was 3 degrees.  Well?

Anyway, does anybody have a quick easy way to convert from C to F and vice versa?

I seem to recall that water freezes at 0 degrees C and boils at 100 degrees C, but I may have just made that up.

I'm curious because a lot of my friends are kiwi and they are stumped by the whole F thing.
