The company is great so far.  There is so much to learn I don't know where to start.  Worse they are basically like "you're on your own."    I finally said to the guy who is on the way out that I need him to sit me down and show me where shaZam! is on the network and explain some stuff to me so I have a starting point.  Man am I sleeping well at night 

I know I'm going to like the place, but it will be like taking 5 school classes in 3 months    I went from thinking I knew a lot to realizing I don't know shaZam!.

Life begins when you realize you don't know shaZam!...   

Really though...  In a few months you'll be a friggen master, thinking back and laughing at yourself for not getting it.

But, you'll still be able to laugh at me for not getting it.

ya gotta love those jobs.  When I used to be in IT that happened from time to time.  I would get assigned a new contract and go and start working at the new company and just be like "wow, oooooookkkkkkkk" and be kind of dumbrstruck for a couple days until it all starts to sink in and the stuff that seemed new and difficult all seemed to work itself out and made sense yet again.
