hey i wanted to put nos and a turbo on the gs500f does anyone have any sugestions or ideas on how to go about this........ or can this bike even handle it.............

it's a carbed bike so have fun getting the turbo working well on there.

Do a search on Turbo, there are 2 Turbo GS500's in known existance. one was for sale on this board.  here is one http://gstwins.com/gsboard/index.php?topic=16140.0

A GS500 just ain't made for no turbo. Just get on it and ride it, have fun, and enjoy it. If it don't "turn your crank" no more then just trade the sorry s.o.b. in and be done with it. Get you a screaming crotch rocket. Imagine all the townspeople that have turned out to cheer you across the finish line as you blast-ass from point A to point B. Can you hear them screaming your name as you tear the black off the asphalt? Can't you just feel the ecstacy of all the women that would want to buck wildly atop your blatant 18 inch phallus?

Shi_t .....if I'uz you I'd git rid of that raggedyass GS500. You shorely ain't gonna git no kitty cat with that p.o.s..

Fortunately I'm married and have been with the same woman for over 31 years.
I can own a standard plain vanilla GS500 without any guilt or pining for some 200 m.p.h. ugly-ass plastic crotch rocket.

yeah i get your point but its the simple fact of steping out of the crowd and not geting your typical gxrs. 

Well..........this reminds me of a calendar girl or a poster girl........you know, we've all seen them.......the "pinup" models. She's so voluptuous, high firm jutting breasts......a tiny waist.......thick muscular thrusting flanks with hair that you wished you could get your member entangled.

You gotta love Wilson dontcha,  you may not agree with him but he has a way with words. perhaps not Shakespeare nor Steinbeck even but a poet nonetheless.

Telling it like it is, or as we say, calling a spade a spade (not a shovel) The board would be poorer without it's characters.

i say if you have the funds and the know how to do it .. go for it .. i thought about it .. but after the one i seen with it mounted .. theres no way i'd bother trying to do it .. when someone finds a way to hide it out of the way .. then maybe ... as for the nos ...... i'd say have it built for it .. if you really want to spray .. but .. its kinda like asking for death if you ask me .. cuz if you lay it down or get hit . you can say boom ... any thing underpressure will go boom if  hit hard enough or poked a whole in .

IMHO...yes we all know what that is worth.

I'd have to say that I'd like the idea of a fuel injected GS better than a turbo'd one.

No offense to you or the guy who actually has a turbo'd GS.

Getting rid of the carbs would solve the some of the rideability problems people sometimes complain about.

I'll shutup now...well maybe.
