Really though...  Do what you want with your GS...  Just remember that plastic is expensive. :icon_razz:

That was straight clutching it up, no bouncing or any fancy crap. I can do them a little longer than that, but just till the end of first gear.
When spring rolls around I wanna learn shifting into second while on one, and slow stand ups (basically finding the balance point)

Also planning to get some track time in this summer  :)

Awsome! :thumb: :thumb:
From what i hear, when people shift in a wheelie, they do it clutchless...
FK5 / SM2 / 15t / 41t / sv650 shock ... -->GSX-R600k7
Steez...

yes I know, thats why I havn't tryed it yet. I'm gonna get speed shifting down first (on two wheels), then take it to one wheel.

It's pretty easy to do it...  And it only takes timing and a quick wrist to be good at it.

Sometimes I still screw up the shift, but most of the time it's so fast you can't even tell I shifted.

from what I under stand is that its just;
roll off the throttle just a touch, give a strong swift kick up to the shifter and pull back on the throttle.
I've also heard that it wears out the doggs

What I do (and what I was told to do) is to put slight shift pressure on the shifter and blip the throttle real quick...

It works pretty well...  When you get the RPMs up, the bike wants to shift...  Just a little pressure and a real quick throttle blip... BAM!!!  It shift...

Yeah... I've heard it wears it out too...  Just don't do it all the time I guess.

Oh yeah... Don't down-shift that way... BAD!!!

budget speed demon

when I get my bike back out I'll have to try that.
I'll post pics and video's of my wheelies and what not when I get better at them... for anyone who's interested that is.

Cool I'd like to see them. When you go to upload on putfile, and it says that you cannot because they're doing maintenance, try pushing refresh afew times. It worked for me the other day.  :dunno_white:
