No no, misunderstanding here. "but you were asking for it" is directed at Scorpio65 who was taking at shot at me for being Canadian.

This isn't really a shot at Americans. The stereotypical American is a 'hot tempered gun waving red neck' while the stereotypical Canadian is an Eskimo in a Parka waving a peace sign. Not all Canadians are Eskimos, (in fact I can honestly say that I've never met an Eskimo). Likewise not all Americans are hot tempered gun waving red necks, (although I can say that I've met a gun loving red neck American). Simply put, I'm stating the obvious. Those are our countries reputations and that's just how it is. I don't like being called an Eskimo, and I can imagine that you don't like being called a Red neck.

I am not one of the 'extreme bush haters' but I do have my own problems with him and the way in which he runs things. I think the war on Iraq is not a war, but rather a business venture. I don't really want to get into all this, so I'll leave it at that.
