So stupidly I let my lil bro (same lil bro who backed into my bike and what not) drive my car because his car is dead atm. He doesnt have much experience with a stick but I figured he'd be fine...today he went to drive to school and it wouldn't shift..he killed my tranny  so I have to spend $250 on a rebuild kit and several hours rebuilding my 2003 Spyder so I can sell it....Anyway....I had to clean out my garage to pull the car in...

What kinds of weird things have u found in your garage? So far I've found two solar fencers hooked to metal grates...a bucket of spark plugs, 200lbs of grass seed, a broken kitchen table, and several hundred pounds of misc. bolts...not really weird its just kind of those "why do we have this?" kinda stuff...

Why is that? Make the bro pay for it! He did it! How long was he driving it? It musta taken him awhile to kill the tranny... stupid kids... everyone should learn how to drive on a stick, then get an auto if they want one...

Hang out there, we may flame, but we don't hate.

My attitude is in serious need of readjustment, and I'm ok with that.

He's not paying for it because he doesnt have a job...we couldn't get the kid to do anything. No matter what my parents took away or tried to bribe him with...We live on a farm...there's tractors everywhere and he has no idea how to drive them. I got him on a bike for the first time last summer and he dropped it once got on once more after that....he does nothing...

..I have no idea what he did to it...but i am not happy..He's been driving it off and on for a few months...i got the car in November and for the past couple weeks he's been driving it daily...

Ok I dont have a garage but I do have a basement and the weirdest thing I can find is Elmers 3D Glitter pens.

As far as Tom goes, he really doesnt do anything unless u consider annoying his sister something.  And if my brother(which I dont have one) broke my car I would shoot him in the balls with an Airsoft gun. :2guns: :2guns: :2guns: :2guns: :2guns: :2guns: :2guns: :2guns: :2guns: :2guns:

As someone who has both balls, and an airsoft gun.... ouch, is all I have to say...

I refuse to drive an auto....it's not real driving to me....

I'm not even going to list the stuff in my garage....Lets just leave it as I can't see any of the 3 walls [like there's a door duh] and only about 1/2 the ceiling. I must park to the extreme left to have enough space to swing my car door open.

what car is this? kinda hard to kill a manual tranny in one day. unless its got those damn paperpad friction syncronizers like the WCT5 the mustangs used. it does take alot to bend shift forks, like Beating it into gear.  secondly, selling off some of his prized possesions(heirlooms do not count)  to pay for it often hits the wakeup chord in most specialy when all marked at half retail. leaving a mattress and 3 changes of clothing should grab his attention. makeing him homeless might also help.  hell you said farm and you dont have a woodshed?
Accelerate like your being chased, Corner like you mean it, Brake as if you life depends on it.
Ride Hard...or go home.

Its you Vs the pavement.....who wins today?

It's my 03 Mits Spyder convert. I'm listing it for sale on monday here locally. He didn't kill it in one day, it was a couple weeks that it had been acting strangely and he didn't say a word about it. I hadn't driven it so I didn't realize there was something wrong.
*apologizies yes Mac you're correct* Didn't understand what my father was saying to me.....I'll have to wait until he comes home and get the full explaination

I was pissed...but right now he doesnt have anythign for me to take away. And he's my parents baby so he doesn't get in trouble for anything. His xbox died..his car caught on fire...only thing he does have is his laptop and he needs that for school so i cant take that away. My dad will figure out some way to make him pay for it lol

I thought it was a 5spd?  Most 5spds don't have "lines"...much less an access point for a stone to enter it.  At most you'd have a hydrolic line connecting the mastercylinder (pedal) to a slave cylinder which operates the clutch fork.

What exactly was the car doing?

I have no experience with the Eclipse, though, so I'm really not sure...but I'm curious to learn more.

oh...and I can't even park in my garage.  It's my project headquarters...and is full of crap.  I've got at least 3 RX-7's, 2 lawn mowers, 2 go karts, 4 bikes, 4 welders, a refrigerator and lord knows what else in vairous piles in there.

Dude I wanna party with you :thumb:  I myself have a beer fridge, computer, TV, radio, 3 bikes, compressor, tools, a comfy chair, bla bla bla.  Anne forces me to leave enough room for her Corolla, but the rest is mine!  I call it "The heman woman haters club."

I got a few compressors, too...but they only get honorable mention because they tuck neatly under ym work-bench...
