I've been thinking about taking it...

But, what I should do is take my GS down to the lot and see if I can pass the BRC test on it...  I think I'd fail.

Today was my first that at the BRC course! At first, I had problems with the clotch and rolling the throttle when starting and changing gears. I got used to it after a while though. You should that the cousres but don't bring you GS. Use their bikes. It may be easier to learn on.

I Passed my BRC yesterday. Yeeeah! For thoses who are concerning taking it, just do it. I is fun. It is kinda like riding go-carts. More importantly, I learned a lot of good safety tips. If you are a new rider in california and you want to take this course, get your permit first. B/C with sucessful completion of the BRC course, you still have to obtain your permit before getting your license anyways. If you get your license before completing the course, all you have to do is take the paper work that the BRC will mail to you to the DMV. You don't even have to wait in line. Just walk straight up to the licensing window.

Anybody else here given a 125 to ride at BRC? So far I've only heard of 250's from everybody else, but when I took it, I rode a Honda 125. It was teensy tiny, and had to be in 3rd gear to go 25mph. But that was good for me b/c I'd never touched a bike before.

We got Kawasaki Eliminator 125s, or whatever Kawi's itty bitty cruiser bike is.
