Decently maintained... but not in 100% tip top shape.  Just curious what range to expect from my 1997 GS500e on a fill-up.

altho most everybody reported better than me, I almost never got above 50, most of the time I stayed around 45 mpg with my stock jetted 2001 with low miles.  I was always at the low end of the spectrum, maybe it was my wrist :dunno_white:

40-45 seems about right. If you ride in sixth everywhere and don't stop ever you might get 65.

I have a stock motor on my street GS, with a custom exhaust, Dyno Jet kit and a  pod filter.  I ride it like I stole it, and get mid to high 40's in the city, low to mid 50's on the interstate and high 40's to low 50's when I am hammering it on the back roads. My track GS gets around mid to low 30's

Mine's stock with the exception of a K&N drop in, and I got 45mpg when I rode it like I stole it this past weekend. It was cold though, so long warmup times and sessions spent cuddling with the exhaust might have changed that. I normally get around 55 or so.
