I like the silver backed "S" best.

I really don't want to do a silver backed "S" for 2 reasons.
1- It will be hard to match the exact shade of silver found on the cases. And it will most likely end up looking mismatched and silly.
2- Not all crank cases are silver, so it would look even weirder on a GS with black cases.

I'd like to make something that everyone is going to be happy with, but I'm honestly not to crazy about this silver background business. My reasons are stated above /\.

I meant this one. The metallic silver shaded "S" on black carbon fiber background. Can I change my order to this one?

BTW: I have a black '92 and it does have a black case.

I wonder how they'd look if the S were a bit larger to fill more of the empty space.

that yellow above is sweet, as you said i am sure it will be even better. thats the one we will get or it that one dif from the first one you listed? any idea on the price. i just want to plan ahead and be sure to have it, i am beting on the side of 50$ if not enough let me now i will put more to the side for them. thnaks man its looking great.

they will not be more than $38. I'm hopeing to be able to lower the price alittle as well. I will not be making more thanf one type of yellow. all the yellow's will be the same.The blues, reds and blacks while being different from eachother, will have one style for each colour.

Yep I still like it.  Me want black, though that red looks good too.  It sort of depends on which bike but I guess the black is pretty universal.
