Did the GS500 ever have a yellow "Suzuki" gas tank decal?  I need to find a yellow "Suzuki" gas tank decal.  It doesn't have to be for the GS500, but any older model.

I know that tapeworks.com can make suzuki decals any color you want and in different sizes

Short answer, No OEM Yellow GS500 tank decals for US markets. There were many tape sets for the tanks over the years.

If you don't mind digging some, the online fiche sites will have the OEM tape sets for the different model years. They DO NOT decode the color codes for you.

CAVEAT --
This document really needs work and contribution from the community. My goal is to have representative color photos of each part number. This is something sorely needed by restoration buffs.

Pholina Yellow, code 163 is in the 96 - 2000 listing. It was a tank/bodywork color only, no decals/tank "Suzuki" and the last listing 2000+, does not include the current Color Rite codes.

If want yellow, methinks Todd's links are the best route to start searching.

I'm assuming the 9" measurement is for the width/length of the whole word, not the height of the letters?

The stock SUZUKI logo is ~9" long from the beginning of the letter "S" to the end of the letter "I".

IOW, those Stickerpoint 9" decals are EXACT replacments for the stock Suzuki gas tank decals on the pre-'04 GS models...
