This is where I'm starting.  Custom header, collector, midpipe and what used to be a nice shiney undented Apex'i can.



I spent a lot of hours on this the other day trying to get it built right.  The outside is ugly but the inside is nice and smooth.  Total pain in the ass piling on little bits and pieces like that but it worked.





At first I was going to paint it but decided to torch it instead.  I painted the headers with a gloss enamel and then torched it on...makes for a very durable finnish.  I then heated the tip red hot and just patterned the can.







Mounted up.  I'll get some better shots when I get back from lubbock.  I think it looks 10X better now than it did shiney.

The following clip is a product of an open exhaust, cold bike, back exhaust gaskets and an "in need of remap" situation...but it shoots huge flames:

I wish there was more bass out of that recording. I bet that sounds killer in person.

yeah I can't really pick up good sound...wish I had a little more professional a setup to record with...

awesome.. the flames remind me of my friend's corvette.. so much fun..

yeah I dig SV's but that one's not quite my taste...I like something specific with the tail...either stock or retro on the SV's.  That one is unfinnished and it looks more like a rat-bike's ass.  The exhaust is also odd, too...

wow now there's a LOT of afterburn...something's wrong with her...
