...on my ankle.  some of u may remember my crash back in june 05.  well i thought my ankle was just severely sprained.  9 months later the pain is still there, not getting better, and becoming a real nuisance.  so i finally decided to get a referal to see the orthopedic doctor.  got my first xrays since the accident and i wish i had done it sooner.  so apparently ive been standing/walking/sometimes running on a broken ankle all this time.  i go for an MRI on tuesday and then surgery sometime soon. im depressed.  $30 copay each visit.  the doc wants me to do PT beforehand but i cant cause i dont have the money ( also a $30 copay each PT visit!).   im gonna have to go on disability or quit and find a job that i can work sitting down (ugh!).   cant drive. cant ride. my life is over. 

I feel your pain man...  I screwed up my ankle about a month ago and it still hurts.  Although, I didn't break mine.

So...  You can't stand with a cast or anything?

I remember.  Now, I really hope you feel better.  Never give up, there is always hope when there's a solution.  It's just gonna take time.  And, perserverance.

You have a fallback, right?  In your photography?  Distract yourself with that.  You take great photos.

How long do they expect rehab to take?

thanks guys.  really. i wont know much until i get the MRI on tuesday and speak more with the doctor.  we'll see
