I have been searching the web to buy the RU-2970 online and cant find it anywhere. How much are you guys paying for one and where did you get it. I can get it local here in Australia but they want $180 Aus (100 US roughly) and it will take 8 - 10 weeks. Surely there are cheaper places to get it. Will certainly do the jetting without the K&N kit which they want $195 for here too...

do a search on the FS board there is info about it being $29 with free shipping from a place in montana. They just have K&N drop ship it so maybe they can do the oversees shipping.

I thought someone said they had just the pod filters and stock exhaust/slip on and were running 140's and 2 washers. But with the V&H or any full exhaust you need the 150's? Lemme know cause I just bought the pods and some 140's and plan on doing a slipon exhaust from an R1 (the stock CF pipe).

I'd also very much appreciate some clerification because I'm thinking about just buying the pod filter.  I may try and get a stock SV650 pipe to install but probably not for a while.

edit - also, do the washers go on the pilot jets or the main jets?

Check Pablo's web site.  I found the information regarding the K&N and slip-on pipe there.  Pablo says 150/40/2 washers = 1mm and 3 1/2 turns out.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
