so i bought a dynojet kit for my 05 and i was wondering ifthere is abything i should know about before i get into this..... how hard is it............. :dunno_white:

well before we can answer this we must know what you've done to your bike.  If it's still a stock bike then the dynojet install will be crazy simple.  If you've made some modifications to the bike you'll be in for just a little more wrench time.

I did the dynojet kit on my '04, pretty simple really...hardest part is taking it all apart to get at the carbs, and had to fiddle around with the throttle cables to get them working properly, not a big deal really.

I'd give it a 5 out of 10 in difficulty.  It's nowhere near the most diffucult thing, but also far from the easiest.

The hardest thing you'll face is deciding the propper settings to suit your bike.

Get a Flow-Commander to go along with the jet kit!  You won't be disappointed!  I know, I have one.  Do it at the same time you do your jet kit.  I didn't so I know the difference that it made.  The low end and mid-range were totally transformed in my bike.
