Hello all, new to the forums so I hope I put this in the right place.

I'm looking for information about any of you who have installed the Givi Wingracks on your GS500.

I've poured over the available hardbags and think they're the best looking and most versitile. I see postings from Steve-C but believe he's sold the bike.

Anyone complete this installation or know someone who did? I'm worried I won't be able to access the lock cylinder to take off the seat or that it won't be sturdy enough.

Thanks,

Bill Morris

I don't think mine is a "WingRack," but it's kinda the same idea...  I didn't do the install myself (my bike came with it)...
The way mine is installed, the seat easily clears the rack. :thumb:

It looks good and I don't think too high. I should have said the Wingrack is for mounting the sidecases too. I'll need all three to put all the crap I carry.

Thanks for the reply and the pix. Bike looks good, wish the hell it was that green outside right now. I'm in NJ, still cold (not that it stops me).

Yeah... So do I!  It's brown, gray, rainy, and cold here right now...

Those are pics from last summer. :thumb:
