Hey all,

Just wondering if there is anyone who might like to join in a Ride to celebrate the kick ass weather that we are going to have this weekend, knocks on wood.  I live in Blacksburg and am just throwing this out there.  I know it is last minute, sorry for that, but I just wanted to throw it out there and see if anyone else in my area was interested. 

PS: no planning on my end has gone on so anyone interested can just throw in their .02.

If I wasn't a brand new rider (and if I had my real license...) I'd come down there to ride.  I just graduated from Tech in December and there are some roads I'd like to ride around there.  Since I live in MD, any time I traveled between home and school I'd take Catawba out to 81 (puts you out around Salem) and I loved that road - and I was just driving my stock neon!

Hope you can get together with some people and have fun.

yeah that is a nice road,  runs right by the home place if I remember right.  When I ride to Roanoke I take that road, comes out at exit 130 somthing or the other.

im in the same boat as "badguy", im a new rider although i live in Alexandria it's a little further than i want to ride while starting out.

yeah that is a bit long of a ride for a new rider.  I know it took me a couple months of riding around before I would go close to 81.  Just take it on your own time and before long you will be looking for new, more interesting twisties or trackdays.  Just be safe where ever you guys go

I'm in Bburg and might be down for a ride... what day you thinking of riding, and where to? I might be able to pull a few riders from the CRC.

haha i never could post in the right section.  Anyway i was planning on saturday or sunday, but leaning tward sunday.  As for a location i am very flexible.  I was going to wait and see who replied and where everyone was.  If one is coming from Alexandria then the blue ridge pkwy might be a good location that is almost a middle point.  anyone else got any ideas?

Oh and Dynamic, Where in the CRC do you work.  I used to work for the 4 help staff and a 4- midnight call center guy.  Now i am working with the vetmed center.  As for location I hadn't decided because i was going to see if anyone responded.  Since i got that, the original plan was to meet somewhere in the middle.
