I"d probally kill myself riding and trying to talk on a cell phone at the same time.  Besides it's nice to get away from everybody and not being inturrupted constantly.
Pilot 22.5, Mid 65 , Mains 147.5, Mixture screw 3.5 turns out

Even if the voices aren't real they have some good ideas.

Exactly! I like not having to deal with people bothering me while I'm riding. I don't talk on my cell phone when I drive, either. On the motorcycle? Ha, yeah right!

When you're talking on the phone, you won't be concentrating on what traffic is doing, you'll likely miss some errant road debris, forget what gear you're in, miss a sign or a light, or fail to notice road condition changes. In my short commute to work (6 miles), virtually EVERY day I witness some stupid motorist blow through a red light, get two wheels on the shoulder, hit a curb, or make a last minute left turn from the right hand lane......all because they were yakking on the phone. You can't afford a mistake like that when you're on two wheels :nono: Don't talk and ride, please.

I'm not saying you people are wrong but he asked about the hradset and if it worked, not if it would kill him..
I'm not saying I think they are safe or recommend it (personally I ride for a break from junk) but my buddy has something similar to that and says it does work fine.

Be careful if ya get it though, although other guys didn't answer you question at all they are right when saying it brings a extra distraction to the bike.I suggest be very careful w/in city streets f you have it but for higways/longer trips it could work alright.

I'd look into the oakley's w/bluetooth http://oakley.com/o/o2261d
more for the sportbiker who normally doesn't have an open faced helmet. Also, being inside would cut down on wind noise a lot.

DMac,
I think those of us who are trying to disuade CAS from a Bluetooth adapter are concerned for the peril he is putting himself in. I view most of the replies in the same way I would expect the responses would be if I asked my fellow riders if they could recommend a good sandal/flipflop to use for hot weather riding. To wit...which sandal provides the most cushion for shifting up? Which flipflop povides the best grip on hot pavement when stopped? Are sling-backs better than open heels?

I think carrying a cell phone when you ride isn't necessarily bad. I, like others, like to ride to get away from EVERYTHING that distracts, pressures, or otherwise diminishes my focus on my riding experience and enjoyment. I'd still recommend against any phone intrusion when riding.

How about scala rider from Cardo??

It is removable plus wind and noise compensated.

Every zero you add to the tolerance adds a zero to the price.

If the product "fails" will the product liability insurance pay for the "failure" until it turns 18?

Sorry, but what a stupid idea.  Not you, the idiot that though it up.

Besides the already mentioned problems, and the fact that I wouldn't want to be grouped with all the yuppies wired for sound, what happens if you crash and hit your head?  You have a hard foreign body either inside your helmet or worse, inside your ear canal.  If you hit the side of your head you'll likely experience severe injuries.

This is the same reason why I don't wear ear buds or speakers for a muzak box.

You asked...   :)
