I came across this on another forum that I frequent,  makes me angry with myself all those times I took stupid risks on my bikes through the years.  Images like this make me glad I was smart and started on a GS500 rather than a GSXR 1000 or whatnot.  This is very very disturbing to see, but it will put a healthy fear into your throttle hand.

I'm inclined to agree with the first comment.  The photo's fake.  Or if not fake, things have been staged, or at least disturbed.  Something highly fishy is going on.

People crash at speeds like this all the time in MotoGP, and this sort of thing doesn't happen to them.  I'm not saying you'd survice, but you wouldn't end up like this.  And we're supossed to believe that someone in full gear crashed hard enough that all his gear/limbs failed/came off, but it's still sitting in one little pile?  It's much more likely that in a real crash, his gear etc. would be strewn all along the road.  The back of the head is gone, but only the front of the helmet is damaged.  There's a right motorcycle boot, but a left shoe.  The glove is empty.  There are guts spilling out of him (hell, piled neatly on top of him), but no trail of blood along the ground, just one delicate little skid mark.  If his skin was abraded through, how'd his guts managed to spill out.

Unless there's been some other serious funny business, this is faked, and faked badly.

reason #1 to obey the speed limit and ride w/in your limits.....

+2 for little bikes that done go 174mph...

There is no time/date stamp on the pics to indicate the order of sequence. I would imagine that the order might go like this:

-> Cager rides along and sees wrecked bike and fire in the woods. Sees rider is scattered about. Calls 911, etc., stops to help.  :o
-> HP gets to site and sees rider is now a kit, calls Coroner/Resuce.
-> Coroner gets to site and pronounces rider. Photos of undisturbed crash scene taken. Rescue collects "parts", more pics.
-> Paperwork and such is performed. Pics leaked to appropriate groups.

The "parts pile" looks like they were placed there, though the heaviest piece did have wet, drag marks (would you want to carry that in your arms?). Probably Rescue crew placed it there prior to "bagging and tagging" rider.

Looks real enough if you consider the "parts" were collected out of the woods where the rider may have ended up.

Considering the shoe/boot thing, he may have had some shoes for changing out when he got to his destination. Too bad he won't need them now.

Helmet may have been pulled/torn off as the rider bounced about the trees. Hopefully he was instantly killed with the first impact.

That looks like a Joe Rocket riding shoe, and a Alpinestar riding boot. I dunno... it could all be stage stuff.

EDIT: Also, the gloves in the picture were just cheap-o black leather ones. I doubt they were that riders, as he had color matched expensive everything. Arai helmet, Alpinestar boots, Alpinestars Yamaha Jacket.

There is also a Dainese jacket in the pictues as well. 2 jackets?

The story I heard is exactly as Starwalt said it, before taggin and bagging everything, they collect a pile and photograph everything again.  The other thing that I heard as a possibility is a passenger on the back might have been wearing the other clothes, that or as he mentioned, a backpack that bust open.  Either way, the point gets across clearly, slow the f%$k down.

why is all the debris neatly organized in one spot only?
why there are traces of riding boots and also of tennis shoes?
where did the blood go?
where are the 'skid' marks or traces on the road for that trashed motorcycle?

im confused

I'm not sure why someone would collect all the parts and put them neatly in a pile, but I'm guessing that's what happened.

tennis shoes might have been inside a bag that ripped open.

if the parts were collected to that spot, there would be no blood there.

There might not be any skid marks because the biker might not have used the brakes

sorry, I did not mean skid marks... just the scrapping of moto VS asphalt.

oh... I did not know pedestrians usually collect pieces of someone on a pile next to the road. I know police doesn't (not that there's any sign of them in the pics).

It sure looks real enough to me. The bodyparts have just been collected and gathered together. About 10 years ago I was doing some contract work for a Rail Company, in the same area some poor individual decided life wasnt worth living and stepped in front of a train. The body parts had been spread out along the track for about 75yrds. They only way to get back to my car was to walk past the spot where the Ambulance guys were collecting the parts together before they bagged them up. It was a truly harrowing and gruseome sight and seeing the picture has reminded me of the experience......I am in no doubt the photo is real. Ok riders fall off at speed in races but its not the falling off that kills them its the connecting with a hard and imovable object that does it. An example is the TT races, every year there are fatalities due to riders coming off and hitting a wall, tree, lampost etc.

No, civilians wouldn't, but a coroner would.

Did you read any of the other posts?

I think it's fake. and only because there is NO  blood around the pile of parts. I mean come on, sure they were all collected and put in that one spot, but you're telling me that that big pile of human organs didn't leak ANY blood while there.

I'm not an expert, but if you cut up a dead body (animal or human) AFTER it's dead, there isn't as much blood cause the heart isn't pumping anymore.  You would only get small amounts.

I just tried to look at the pics again, but they don't show up.

I am so glad I didn't actually look at this picture.  Just reading these posts was bad enough.  I can't take all that "Faces of Death" stuff.  I guess I just don't have the stomach for that stuff.
