I have an 05 GSF and I am wanting to make sure that I have the right part numbers for the jets.  I will have a slip on exhaust and K&N RU-2970 filter.  For the jetting I was thinkin
Pilots:  40  PN# N151.067
Mid-Mains:  67.5  PN# N102/221
Mains:  150  PN# 102/221

Let me know if these are the right parts for the bike and if this setup is pretty good for the mods Im doin.  Thanks

Look here for part numbers
http://gstwins.com/gsboard/index.php?topic=16199.0

this is what I did to my 05 GS500F

Pilot 22.5
Mid 65
Mains 147.5
Mixture screw 3.5 turns out

You can also search the term rejet and see what alot of people have done.

Here is what fettcols was running taken from a different post:

After some digging this is the set up I was running.
Wileyco and a K&N drop in witout the restrictor.
20 pilots  62.5 Mids 132.5 Mains and 3 turns out on mixture screw
Pilot 22.5, Mid 65 , Mains 147.5, Mixture screw 3.5 turns out

Even if the voices aren't real they have some good ideas.

That size 40 pilot jet you listed is MUCH too large; that is the pilot jet size recommended for the older carbs, which are found on the '89-'00 GS models, not on the newer ones ('01+), like yours.

OK, did a little more searching, and for the K&N lunchbox and exhaust I think this might be what I am needing for the 05 GSF
Pilot:  22.5  PN# N224.103
Mid Mains:  67.5  PN# N102.221
Mains:  150  PN# 102.221

Can anyone confirm that the part numbers are for the correct jets.  Thanks

Your main jets are way too f%$king big. You'll need 137.5 at the max. I'm running one of the lunchboxs and 137.5 is rich as all holy hell. A slip on won't change it that much, and with a 150 main you are going to be running insanely f%$king rich. After you do this, go get a dyno run and see how rich you are in the top end. You'll be shocked.

Yes, for 150 mains you must have a pod filters, ignition advancer and some race pipes :)

Ignition advancer doesn't have anything to do with jetting.

150 mains are too big, I think, even for race pipes and pod filters. Maybe with some serious f%$king engine work, maybe, though.

Pod filters are only a bit more flow from a lunchbox though, I think. Not that much of a difference.

Ok, thanks for the help, how does this sound:
Pilot:  22.5  PN# N224.103
Mid Mains:  67.5  PN# N102.221
Mains:  137.5  PN# 102.221

I am also needing to confirm that these are the right part numbers for Mikuni jets.  I plan on ordering in the next few days.
Thank You

Sudco part numbers for Mikuni Large Round main jets from http://www.sudco.com/catalog105/064.pdf
And pilot jets from http://www.sudco.com/catalog105/065.pdf

137.5 - 004-195
67.5 - 004-167
22.5 pilot - 004-565

I think your mid main is going to be too big too, as well as your pilot, but whatever, it's your bike.

When you place your order tell them what bike and they will make sure you get the right jets.

I didnt shim the needles, i guess i forgot that part, and the screws are 3 turns out.

Does anyone know if there will be any probs since I didnt shim the needles, or as long as it runs good should i just leave it?
