DAMN POLICE!  He didn't have anything else to do.

Anyway, I'm leaving work, and it's around 30 outside, but I didn't want to wait for my car to warm up, so I take it slow and make sure I don't go above 3000 rpm.  I'm at a stop light, which turns green, so I go.  Still not warmed up yet.

about 6 blocks away is another light (maybe 2000 feet away???  As I'm slowing down for the light (maybe 150 feet from intersection), he lights up his cruiser.  Before I get to the light, it turns green, so I accelerate and go through.

About 200 feet after the light, I pull over, and he states that I was going 49 in a 30?!?!?

I'm sorry, but I wasn't in ANY rush to get home...  I have to write a 4 page essay for my english class (which I haven't started...  Actually, I haven't even read the stories yet...)

He only gives me a warning, but on the warning slip, he checks off "ESTIMATED"!!!  At best I was traveling 40!!!  49 would put my car about 3300 RPM's...  DAMN IT!!!
