Hey there,
I'm wondering about getting some Bar-end mirrors. I'm looking at these ones on eBay: http://cgi.ebay.ca/New-Billet-Aluminum-3-inch-Bar-End-Mirrors-Black_W0QQitemZ4624804551QQcategoryZ35580QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem .
There are other styles on eBay but I like these round ones.

Anyone have experience with these ones? or some similar ones? or any bar-end mirrors at all and have tips with what to look for/stay away from?

any info would be appreciated...
thanks

I have bar end mirrors on mine, similar to the Ducati sports classics'. On a positive they give you better vision behind, but they do shake like a dog crapping razorblades.

Also they widen the width of your bike, which you get used to.

I'd say go for it  :thumb:

I think those are kinda high though. I think i have seen others for like 30-50 bucks. Try some local shops before you get those off ebay.  :thumb:

There is lots of previous discussions about this
Do a SEARCH for "bar end mirrors"
those ones look good but if you want to save some cash you definitely have cheaper choices :thumb:

I disagree with all of you cheapskates.  I got the cheap EMGO Napoleon style bar end mirrors, and I have regretted it.  They shake like crazy, they don't stay adjusted, and they are concave and uneven.  I'd go with some heavy bar ends, and do the cheap slightly convex mirror on a bracket between the bar end and handlebar trick.  That way you get less vibration.  Seriously, IMO motorcycle mirrors are useful only for seeing people coming up too fast behind you at stoplights.  Otherwise, you can't see crap.
Sorry, I won't answer motorcycle questions anymore.  I'm not f%$king friendly enough for this board.  Ask me at:

I love my napoleons. I can see way better behind me (no view of just my shoulders). They do vibrate more than stock but mine aren't uneven and they stay adjusted.

I have ones really similar to those... I can't compare them to the stock ones, cause I have never used them. I really like the ones I have, they don't vibrate at all, stay in place, and good visibility.

Thanks for your input guys!
for those of you that said that you like the bar end mirrors that you have on your bikes, which brand of mirror do you have? so if I can find them at a local shop, I'll know what I'm looking at.

thanks again!
