I was riding home, and it began to sprinkle a bit...  Then my GS started dying!!!  OMG.  DAMN!!!  My vavle cover gasket replacement I did yesterday f*cked something up!!!

Turns out I was out of gas...

I didn't...  Luckily I was a block away from a gas station...

 

Well, I ran out of gas last night.  It was just due to the restrictive fuel filter though.  It's still embarassing sitting on the side of the road waiting for the carbs to fill up. 

It was then I discovered a major oil leak.  Turns out I forgot to tighten my cam chain tensioner.  Luckily it didn't come out completely.  I still have to go buy a screw....

Must be something in the air...

That's right!  The wind current seems to be traveling from the Northeast part of the US down Southwest, and most likely Northwest.

My SVS has something the GS doesn't have: a blinkie light that comes on when there's only a gallon left. Then the blinkie light becomes a solid light when there's .4 gallons left.....but I'm STILL gonna watch it like a hawk with all this bad juju coming my way from evil GS'rz!

Yeah, but I figured I still had enough left. There was at least a gallong left in there! I figured I had SOME left.

Perhaps we should put something in the FAQ..... if your GS sputters at speed, try a gas station before tearing apart the gas tank, the engine, etc etc....
